resources available. South metro Denver offers an abundant choice of public, private, parochial and preparatory institutions. In the eight public school districts that serve south metro Denver, there exist some of the nation's top performing schools. There are also over 20 charter schools and approximately 30 private schools in the area. Other educational resources available to parents include private learning and tutoring centers and a number of high-quality special schools for special needs and gifted students.
