One of the most important issues in our community is investing in the future of our youth.
If planning a move to south metro Denver, you will be pleased with the educational

resources available. South metro Denver offers an abundant choice of public, private, parochial and preparatory institutions. In the eight public school districts that serve south metro Denver, there exist some of the nation's top performing schools. There are also over 20 charter schools and approximately 30 private schools in the area. Other educational resources available to parents include private learning and tutoring centers and a number of high-quality special schools for special needs and gifted students. The schools in the south metro Denver area rate A+ for students, parents andeducators. Colorado students routinely score above the national average on both standardized achievement tests and college entrance exams. Seventy-five percent of area high school students earn diplomas, a full 5 percent above the national average. 92.1 percent of residents are high school graduates and 35 percent are college graduates, ranking the state first and second in the nation, respectively, with only Boston having a higher percentage of college graduates. Nearly 100,000 students attend the Denver metro area's 15 four-year and  community colleges annually.
